Critical operational liaison to owner/CEO for launch of new retail concept (fashion, home goods, well being).

The Line (Assembled Brands group)

General advisor to President and Executive Team of Assembled Brands (The Line, Khaite, Protagonist, Tenfold)

  • P&L – web, retail, merchandising in-house stylist program

  • Opened Hamptons Pop-Up shop within 1 month of signing lease (including finding real estate and culling current buys for opening inventory)

  • Built company calendar for company: 3 retail shops, web, special events, back office team

Interim President for Premier Home store (custom furniture and lighting, international multi-vendor small goods, vintage).

  • Launched web site and open retail store in Manhattan

  • Hired, trained and had oversight of: Buying, Web, Retail, Warehouse

  • Set up retail sales reports for major accounts for visibility to business

  • Negotiated margin for hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings

armani exchange

Hired to work with strong planning and merchandising teams and show them new ways to look at the business.  During early tenure, Armani Corporate fully took over the business and project turned from 3 months into over 18 months. 

  • Oversaw company going from Cost Accounting Planning to both Retail and Cost Accounting Planning (resulting in a decreased buy at retail of over 20% - which in term raised margins)

  • Implemented true bottoms up door planning for more saleable inventory being bought at the store (and size) level

  • Helped restructure process flow and people (including building out new org charts and job descriptions)
